I really enjoyed being part of the Mawson Road (socially-distanced) celebration on Sunday. I came with my cello and was immediately called on to perform (which I wasn't expecting)! I'm from Edinburgh but have now found a home from home! It was lovely to see the community come together in such an open and friendly way. Subsequently I have received invitations to perform in a local nursery school and a primary school! Brilliant

How welcome I felt the other night on the street - the music was beautiful - the weather was good - I started to feel at home in my new home. Thankyou

My goodness I was buzzing after the song session - it was just what I needed! I couldn't sleep and was awake until about 1am!! Thank you so very much!

Hi Guys Pleased to hear Mawson Road is making the best of the strange circumstances in which we all find ourselves. Meanwhile I am sheltering from the virus in sunny Finland. Hoping to get back to Cambridge in early August. I wonder if there's any chance of holding a virtual musical event, maybe via Zoom. I have my pocket trumpet with me here but have not been playing it much.
